This pageant has been going on for 53 years. With a cast of 800 volunteers it is truly a must see. This is the last year that the production will be performed on the temple’s hill. The story of Joseph Smith and the translation of The Book of Mormon unfolds on the hill of the majestic Manti Temple. Not only is Joseph’s story told but many of The Book of Mormon’s contents are shared including the visitation of Jesus Christ to the ancient inhabitants of America. Besides the Pageant program itself there are also many booths with food and other items. Entertainment and devotionals and don’t forget the annual turkey barbeque dinner put on by Manti City.
