The Natural Science and Mathematics Division at Snow College operates the SnowDome planetarium for educational purposes.

We offer shows for college classes, K-12 school groups, and other community groups. Please contact the Planetarium Director at planetarium@snow.edu or (435) 283-7520 to schedule a show for a group.

We also have free public shows in the evening on occasion.

Our list of full-dome movies includes “Seven Wonders” about the seven wonders of the ancient world and seven wonders in the heavens, “Hubble Vision” which shows what the Hubble Space Telescope taught us, “Two Small Pieces of Glass” about how the invention of the telescope allowed us to see so much more in the sky, “Phantom of the Universe” about dark matter, and “Ghost Particle” about subatomic particles. The shows are free, but due to limited seating we issue free tickets.
